Synopsis:	A heart-felt story of a single mother, Kate (Anderson), raising her misfit son, Donal, while trying to provide him with a "normal" life. Fostering a passion for the greyhounds, Donal strikes a deal with the local trainer. If Donal's favorite, The Mighty Celt, wins three races in a row, he can keep it. Meanwhile, Kate must adjust her life with the return of O (Carlyle), an enigmatic figure from her past. As tension peaks between O and members of the community, Donal loses the deal and he must learn some harsh lessons about life.
