Synopsis:	Harriet is a 10-year-old girl who dreams of escaping her boring life at the family-run motel where she lives with her alcoholic mother and promiscuous older sister. When Rickey, a 30-year-old mentally challenged man, arrives he is quickly befriended by Harriet and they jointly weave a plan to escape their lives. Sadly, their secret kingdom is eventually uncovered, and their well-intentioned bust suspicious families cast doubt on the innocence of their friendship. Despite the harsh resistance they are met with, the pair vow to be true to each other and to themselves.
