The incredible journey of two actor/artists, Michael Chekhov and George Shdanoff, who escaped Revolutionary Russia and World War II to coach the legendary stars of Hollywood in their most memorable Academy Award-winning roles. Upon arriving in Hollywood both men helped to create and define a school of acting that offered an alternative to Stanislavsky and Strasberg's omnipresent 'Method.
