Synopsis:	A self-assured, retired baseball star comes out of retirement when a statistical error is revealed and instead od having the magical number of 3,000 hits, he only has 2,997. Not having played for seven years, the player quickly finds out that getting those three measly hits is not going to be easy. Along the way, the jaded player starts to fall in love with the game again and starts to impart his knowledge to his younger teammates.
