Quentin Tarantino's upcoming movie Inglourious Basterds has been a curious movie for many reasons, not the least bit being the casting of Benjamin Button himself Brad Pitt in the lead role.
To be fair, this will be the second Tarantino movie for Pitt who had a bit part in the Tarantino written movie True Romance. And don't forget that we named it one of the top sleepers of 2009.
The trailer is certainly going to raise some eyebrows as it evokes a seldom seen tone for World War II movies. A tone and feel that can only be described as Quentin Tarantino-esque. The trailer also seems to be a wee bit Kubrickian to me as a cross between Full Metal Jacket and Dr. Strangelove.
