Winnie The Pooh Stays In Disneyworld

As if Disney doesn’t have the money, but... The Walt Disney Company has acquired the rights for exclusive use of Winnie-The-Pooh until the year 2026. How much did it cost the bear’s little mouse buddy? Only $350 million. As the son of A.A. Milne sold his share in the royalties before his death, his widow will receive nothing from the deal Christopher Robin Milne (son) was very anti-Disney and wanted nothing to do with the business. So, who will reap the benefits of the “biggest rights deal” in British literary history? The Royal Literary Fund, the Garrick Club and Westminster School. I’m sure the members of those organizations are really enjoying their tea and honey this morning.
