Actor-Director extraordinaire Mel Gibson certainly carries his fair share of weight and then some in Hollywood, but even he may have bit off more than he can chew with his latest project.

Gibson announced today that he's preparing to direct an epic film that will focus on Jesus Christ's last 12 hours, entitled Passion. If that wasn't tricky enough (see Martin Scorsese and The Last Temptation Of Christ), he's also planning to shoot it in the native tongues of Latin and Aramaic, without subtitles.

Gibson did allow that he's not planning to strap on the Son of God's sandles any time soon. That job has been given to talented actor Jim Caviezel.

I think I smell another Incubus coming on...
