Mike Myers, Dreamworks To Try Sampling

Move over P Diddy, you've got more to worry about these days than former sweetie J Lo's upcoming wedding to Ben Affleck. Mike Myers and Dreamworks announced today that they plan to sample movies (much in the same way P Diddy samples music) to make new entertainment products.

According to the studio this technique, known as "film sampling," would take existing films and alter them to include Myers and other actors to insert new plot twists or alternate endings. Rap music has been making millions the past couple of decades doing the same thing with music and several, recent TV commercials featuring John Wayne and Humphrey Bogart show that digital technology has caught up to allow them to do the same thing with movies.
