In a brilliant piece of movie marketing, you can have Samuel L. Jackson call your friends and family members with a personalize message. The purpose of the call, of course, to remind them to go see Snakes on a Plane starting Aug. 18.
The message -- from a pre-recorded Jackson -- can be personalized with the person's name (if it's common enough) as well as your own. The site which pushes out the phone calls asks you for the recipient's profession, interests, personal trait, and preferred mode of transportation so it can craft the tailored message. It also wants to know your relationship to the person so Sam can say something like "grab your (homegirl, ex-husband, life partner, copilot) Tom and go see Snakes on a Plane."
