G.I. Joe's Scarlett, circa 1982As I've said many times before, I'm a child of the '80s and absolutely cannot wait to see next year's G.I. Joe movie. That fever is fueled even more with this first shot of Rachel Nichols as the crimson-haired southern belle Scarlett.
Scarlett is the feisty, crossbow-wielding member of the mostly-male special forces team. Nichols can currently be seen in the newly-released DVDs P2 and Resurrecting the Champ. Nichols will also star in next year's Star Trek movie where she reunites with Alias creator J.J. Abrams.

Prior to this photo, we got a glimpse of Ray Park in this all-black get-up of Snake Eyes, G.I. Joe's mute commando. One has to figure we'll get regular installments of these character shots. I vote for a photo of Sienna Miller as Baroness to be next.
