While many would argue that 2009 has been relatively light in terms of acting considerations for the Oscars, it looks like someone is ready to toss her hat in the ring for Best Actress. Two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank is set to play female aviator Amelia Earhart in the appropriately titled Amelia.
Today, the trailer popped up online and I think it's safe to say that the film has Oscar Buzz written all over it. History Spoiler Alert: Amelia's plane disappeared somewhere over the Pacific Ocean as she attempted to become the first woman to circumnavigate around the world unassisted in an airplane. Her ultimate fate has never been determined, but there are as many theories as there are JFK conspiracy theories.
