Judd Apatow's Funny People is one of my most highly anticipated movies of the Summer, so it shouldn't come as any surprise that I found the following viral pieces hysterical. Universal is ramping up the marketing plan ahead of the July 31 release and it's got me hook, line and sinker.
There are three character websites that coincide with their counterparts in the movie. First up, Adam Sandler's lead George Simmons has a robust website that one would expect from one of Hollywood's most successful comic actors. You can check out his site here. Below, you will find clips from three of his movies that will be featured within the movie Funny People.
Next up, is standup comedian Randy's website. In the movie, Randy is portrayed by the criminally under-appreciated Aziz Ansari. You can scope out his site at LaughYourDickOff.com. Warning, his humor as the site's url should indicate is of an adult nature.
And finally today, we have Mark Taylor Jackson's website. Played in the movie by Jason Schwartzman, you can easily tell from the clips on the site that he was perfectly cast in this role.
