We mentioned last week that R.A. Salvatore is working on the novelization of Episode II for George Lucas. Well, apparently, Salvatore is dropping hints about the plot to the very secret latest installment of the Star Wars franchise.
Salvatore confirmed something that has been speculated about for months. He indicated that the driving force behind Anakin's fall to the dark side is his relationship with Queen Amidala. Some people had claimed that his mother's death in a botched attempt to free the slaves on Tatooine was the main reason for Anakin's fall, but this latest piece of information seems to downplay that theory.
Whatever the reason, one can only assume that the reasons for Anakin turning into Darth Vadar are varied and complex. But he looked like such a good boy in The Phantom Menace...
