Sean Connery coming back for 'Indiana Jones 5'?

Sir Sean Connery passed up the offer to reprise his role of Dr. Henry Jones in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. However, he could have told Steven Spielberg that he'd up for the next one.

According to Ireland On-Line, via Moviehole, the director has been working on a script with George Lucas that includes the legendary actor. Here is what the source say, according to the Irish publication:

There is an element of the story that could see Sean returning. Anything is possible in these movies and if Sean wants to return he will become central to the new story.

Anyone who saw the last Indiana Jones installment will quickly point to a mention of the senior Jones' passing. As Moviehole suggests, the revisionist expert George Lucas can easily settle it:

Sallah: "No, your father ISN’T dead, Indy. He’s been helping me search for the Lost City of Atlantis in the Sewers of Cairo!"

The "younger" Jones himself, Harrison Ford, said last week that he's on board for a fifth film. Here's what the man had to say:

The story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form. Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work. If the script is good, I'll be very happy to put the costume on again.

Honestly, I really think they need Connery in the fifth movie. Ford won't look nearly as old if he teams up with an even older Sean Connery.
