You know the old saying, "Age before beauty?" Well, Benjamin Bratt is set to defy the age old bit of advice and choose the younger and (arguably, more attractive) co-star in Katie Holmes for his next project.
Rumors last week had Bratt all set to join Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct 2. Stone, who has the final say in casting her male lead, stalled and Bratt went elsewhere for work. He is set to star alongside of Holmes in "Abandon."
After "Abandon"-ing Basic Instinct 2, Bratt murks up the future of the already shaky picture. Strong word out of Hollywood has Vincent Perez and Pierce Brosnan as possible replacements for Bratt.
Perez always seems to be looking for work and Brosnan became available when funding for his latest project was suddenly pulled late last week.
