In this day and age where many of Hollywood's elite are doing everything and anything to keep unwanted weight off, it's refreshing to hear about a celebrity who isn't afraid to show off her bigger side.
Gwyneth Paltrow is bucking the trend for her next picture and will tip the scales at a whopping 300 pounds when she plays the female lead in the Farrelly brothers' "Shallow Hal." Don't worry though, the weight gain will be temporary in the form of a "fat suit," much like the ones worn by Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence in recent movies.
"Hal" follows the exploits of a man who has followed his dying father's last request his whole life: to judge everything by their outward appearance. The young man, played by comic wonder boy Jack Black, has always dated the most gorgeous woman, but now finds himself under a hypnotist's spell in which he only sees the inner beauty (or ugliness) of people. He eventually breaks the spell only to find that his hot, new girlfriend is really the aforementioned 300 pound Gwyneth. Now he has to overcome his natural instincts for true love. Only in the movies...
