• Kurt signed a 10-year contract with Walt Disney Studios in 1960. It was Mr. Walt Disney himself who presented Kurt with the contract.
• Kurt was married to Season Hubley from 1979 to 1984. They have one son.
• Kurt's long-time companion is actress Goldie Hawn. They have one son, Wyatt. They have been together since 1984.
• Kurt's father is actor Bing Russell. He played the deputy sheriff on TV's "Bonanza" for six years.
