• Anthony began his acting study at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and then joined the National Theatre under Sir Laurence Olivier.
• Anthony is married to Jennifer Lynton. He was also married to Petronella Barker and they had one daughter, Abigail Harrison.
• Anthony is a piano virtuoso.
• When the movie 'Spartacus' was restored in 1991 (the original was made in 1960), there were several scenes reintroduced. Many audio tracks were lost. The movie starred Sir Laurence Olivier and with his passing in 1989, the studio asked Anthony to read for the missing tracks.
• He became a U.S. Citizen on April 12, 2000, but was allowed to keep his British knighthood and title of Sir.
