Claire's mother is Italian and her father is British. She grew up in London.
Claire attended the London Arts Educational School at age eleven.
Her big break came with one, emotional scene in "The Rock." Producers caught her talent and cast her for "Meet Joe Black."
Her parents moved with her to San Francisco in 1993 to make it easier to pursue her acting career.
