• Claire's mother is Italian and her father is British. She grew up in London.
• Claire attended the London Arts Educational School at age eleven.
• Her big break came with one, emotional scene in "The Rock." Producers caught her talent and cast her for "Meet Joe Black."
• Her parents moved with her to San Francisco in 1993 to make it easier to pursue her acting career.
• Claire walked off the set of "Deep Rising" after a creative dispute with the director. Her nervy move took her out of the movie, but put her on the cover of 'Vanity Fair.'
