• He graduated from the University of Florida. In 2003 he donated $100,000 to his alma mater to fund what is now known as the Stephen Root Acting Studio.
• He is also a noted voice talent. Stephen is the voice of Bill on TV's King Of The Hill and the fish Bubbles in Finding Nemo.
