• Sarah earned her celebrity status from the series "Buffy: The Vampire Slayer." When she went to audition, she read for Cordelia but the executives wanted her as Buffy.

• McDonald's sued Sarah in 1982 for the Burger King commercial she starred in because she said their name. This was the first time a commercial ever mentioned a competitor's name. Because of her line "I only eat at Burger King," Sarah was not allowed in any McDonald's restaurants.
• Sarah graduated from the Children's Professional School with a 4.0 grade point average.
