• Anna's nose ring in 'Fly Away Home' is fake. It started out as a joke on the set, but Carroll Ballard liked it and kept it for the film.
• She once won $10,000 on the David Letterman Show for making a shot. Although the money began as a joke, Letterman ended up giving her the money. Anna donated all of the money to The Wishing Star Foundation.
