• Eric has admitted to his daily cocaine addiction starting the week after his dad died in 1977 and ending in 1991.
• When Eric broke off his relationship with Kelly Cunningham in 1991, he evicted her and his 7-month old daughter from his home. The two moved into another house, though, purchased by his sister, Julia Roberts.
• Eric was arrested in 1993 for pushing his wife during an argument. Eliza did not want to press charges but after she made the 911 call, the police were legally obligated to take over the situation. She had called 911 because she thought he was going to kill himself.
