• Forest directed Whitney Houston's video for "Exhale (Shoop, Shoop)" pop song.
• Forest is married to model Keisha Simone Nash and the couple have one daughter. He also has a son from a previous relationship.
• Forest played high school football and earned an athletic scholarship to Southern California Pomona College. But his singing voice carried him out of SCPC and into University of Southern California on a classical music scholarship, and never played football again.
