• Kevin was only 5'2" when he graduated from high school.
• Kevin graduated from California State University with a business degree.
• While a student, he took acting classes every night.
• He was working for a marketing firm in California when he met Richard Burton on an airplane. He told Kevin if he wanted to act then he needed to go full force. Kevin quit his job and he and his wife moved to Hollywood.
• Kevin married his college sweetheart, Cindy Silva, in 1978. The couple divorced in 1994.
• Kevin and Cindy have three children, Joe, Annie and Lily.
• Kevin also has a son with Bridget Rooney named Liam.
• Kevin owns and runs his own production company, Tig Productions.
• At one time, he co-owned a casino with his brother in South Dakota.
• Kevin recorded a duet with Amy Grant for the soundtrack to his movie The Postman.
