• Jeff was married to Patricia Gaul from 1980 to 1986.
• Jeff met Geena Davis while filming Transylvania 6-5000, they married in 1987 and divorced in 1990.
• Jeff was engaged to actress Laura Dern between 1995 and 1997 after filming Jurassic Park together but no vows were ever exchanged.
• During his 30 years in the industry (so far), Jeff has had a movie released every single year.
• Jeff is a big jazz fan and he plays piano. His band plays at an exclusive nightclub on Monday nights.
