• Kelsey is married to actress Camille Donatacci.
• Kelsey has been married twice in the past. Leigh-Anne Csuhany was his wife for less than a year. He was married to actress Doreen Alderman and they had one daughter, Spencer.
• Kelsey has another daughter, Greer, with Barrie Buckner.
• Kelsey's life has been full of tragedy. His father was murdered when he was 12 and his beloved grandfather died a year later. When he was 20, his sister was abducted, raped and murdered and then five years later his two half-brothers died scuba diving in St. Thomas.
• Kelsey has a past of alcohol and drug addiction as well. He was arrested in 1988 for drunken driving and possession of cocaine. He later served 30 days in jail for failing to appear at two arraignments and his community service duties.
• Kelsey flipped his car in 1996. Although he was charged with driving with an expired license, rumor believes it was another alcohol related incident.
• Kelsey recognized he needed help and checked into the Betty Ford Center after his car accident.
• Born in the Virgin Islands, Kelsey and his family moved to New Jersey when he was two years old. He spent most of his adolescent years on the East coast until his family moved to Florida.
• Kelsey was a Juilliard School student, but not a graduate.
• Kelsey has won three Emmy's for his sitcom, "Frasier."
