• Jamie thought he wanted to play hockey until he watched a game close-up. He decided against the violence.
• Jamie started ballet lessons when he was six years old.
• Jamie isn't the only dancer in his family. His mother, sister and grandmother are all dancers as well.
• As a young child, Jamie was teased at school for studying ballet. His classmates called his "Ballerina Boy."
• Jamie won the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) took home the Perfomance by an Actor in a Leading Role award for his role in "Billy Elliot."
