Catherine was a member of the Northern Lights group. They performed the song "Tears Are Not Enough" which was put on the "We Are The World" soundtrack.
Catherine is married to production designer Bo Welch.
At one time, she was crowned "Queen of Comedy" from her work on 'Second City TV."
It has been noted that Ms. O'Hara has an almost "cult-like" following of fans.
In the seventies, Catherine starred in a Canadian children's show, "Coming Up Rosie." The show also starred John Candy and Dan Akroyd at one time or the other.
Her big start came after she worked her way up from a waitress to the stage in a Canadian comedy club, Second City.
