• Bruce is married to Susan Devlin. The couple had their first date when they were 15 years old. They've been married for 15 years.
• Bruce is a musician and plays the electric guitar.
• Bruce remembers the Cuban Missile Crisis and his elementary school preparing for the possible war.
• He has an array of dialects and impersonations and makes talking books with all of his voices.
• Bruce used to do television pilots for Warner Brothers.
• Bruce used to work as a diamond driller in the Northwest Territories to pay his tuition at The London Central School of Speech and Learning. Instead of finishing his schooling, he left and went to Greece. While there he worked on a sailboat and says it was his favorite job ever.
• Bruce once bought a motorcycle and rode it across the United States.
• Bruce graduated from a Zurich, Switzerland high school. His dream was to be a professional skier, but had to change his mind when he injured his knee at 16-years-old.
• He wears a brace on his right knee from his injury as a teenager. Bruce has had six operations on his knee but is still an avid outdoorsman.
• While growing up, Bruce never lived in one place longer than four years.
• Bruce is left-handed.
