• Roselyn was a beauty pageant queen when she was 19 years old. She was crowned Miss Puerto Rico Petite and Miss America Petite.
• She was a cast member of Puerto Rico's top rated comedy/variety show "Que Vacilon."
• When she turned 21, Roselyn decided to leave her family and her homeland and head to New York to chase her acting dreams.
• When she came to the United States Roselyn spoke little English.
