Did You Know?

• D.L.'s real name is Darryl.
• D.L. and his wife LaDonna have three children.
• When he was kicked out of high school, D.L. joined the "Bloods" gang. But after he lost his cousin to a gun, D.L. changed his ways.
• His first job was as a telemarketer for the Los Angeles Times, where he met his wife.
• It was his wife who pressured him to try his funny lines on stage. BET put him on their "Comic View" and that was the start of his success.
• His comedy tour last year, "Kings Of Comedy Tour," became one of the highest grossing tours ever. The success prompted Spike Lee's movie The Original Kings Of Comedy.
• D.L. loves jazz music.
