• Catherine is the current model for Marianne, the symbol of the the French Republic on French coins and stamps. (Brigitte Bardot was her predecessor)
• Catherine has two children, a son Christian Vadim with actor Roger Vadim and a daughter, Chiari Mastroianni with Marcello Mastroianni.
• She co-starred with her sister, Francoise Dorleac in The Girls of Rochefort in 1967. Francoise died the same year in a tragic car accident.
