Did You Know?

• After the huge success of his album "Bigger And Deffer" in 1987, LL Cool J funded a new hospital on the Ivory Coast. After his generous donation, he was given the title Chief Kwasi Achi-Brou.
• He supposedly separated from his wife after their second child was born.
• "LL Cool J" stands for "Ladies Love Cool James."
• LL Cool J is married to Simone Johnson and they have three children: Najee, Italia and Samaria.
• LL landed his own TV sitcom, "In The House," in 1995.
• LL started on his rapping road when he was only nine years old. His grandfather bought his a mixing table and he started making tapes.
• He sent his demos to several record labels before Def Jams picked him up. His first single, 'I Need A Beat,' was released when he was only 16 years old.
