Did You Know?

• His real name is Carlos Ray Norris.
• Chuck has two younger brothers whom he helped his mother raise.
• Chuck joined the Air Forcer after high school graduation. While stationed in Korea, he was fascinated by the Asian martial art of Tang Soo Do.
• Chuck started teaching the martial arts of Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwan Do when he returned to the United States. Some of his students include Steven McQueen and Priscilla Presley.
• Chuck holds several champion titles in the martial arts, including the Professional World Middleweight Champion for six years (1968 - 1974) when he retired. He also earned the Triple Crown in 1969 for the most tournament wins. More recently, he was the first westerner to earn an eight-degree black belt in Tae Kwan Do (1996).
• Chuck is a very active philanthropist. He works for charities like Funds for Kids, Veteran's Administration National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans, the United Way, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Kick Drugs Out of America.
• Chuck is married to Gena O'Kelley and they have twins, Dakota and Danilee.
• Chuck has two sons, Eric and Mike, from his first marriage to Diane Holechek. They were married for 30 years.
• Chuck was named 'Veteran of the Year 2001.'
