• He once held the Guinness world record for throwing a playing card the farthest. His longest was 190 feet.
• Ricky has written three books, "Learned Pigs and Fireproof Women," which tells about strange circus and sideshow acts. The second book is "Cards As Weapons." His most recent book, due out in September 2001, is titled "Jay's Journal of Anomalies" and is and extension of his first book.
• Ricky learned his magic/con craft from his grandfather and all of his friends.
