• Ron is a former golden glove boxer.
• He palyed Shep, the love interest of Julianna Margulies, during the second season of 'E.R.' The relationship developed off-screen as well.
• Ron's drama education came from the prestigious New York High School for the Performing Arts.
• Ron was the second youngest in a family of seven children. Their mother died when he was very young and all of the siblings were sent to live with different relatives.
• During high school, Ron could bench press 312 pounds.
