SYNOPSIS

Lorie Walker (Meagan Good, Stomp the Yard, Saw V), attends a ritzy private school in a small southern town. Raised by her grandmother , Valerie (Oscar nominee® Ruby Dee, American Gangster, Do the Right Thing), she often daydreams of becoming a professional dancer. After a chance meeting with Shark (Adam Senn, Boys Night Out, If She Can Make It Here...), a hotshot music video director, her lifestyle gets a serious makeover as she quickly becomes a star in the Hip Hop world. But when she discovers life in front of the cameras is not as glamorous as it seems, she struggles to stay grounded in VIDEO GIRL, an acclaimed urban drama from director Ty Hodges (Miles from Home, Material Girls).
