SYNOPSIS

In the early 1980s, Ned Weeks (Academy Award® nominee Mark Ruffalo) witnesses a mysterious disease claiming the lives of many in the gay community. Determined to expose the truth about this epidemic, Ned co-founds the Gay Men's Health Crisis and begins his crusade alongside Dr. Emma Brookner (Academy Award® winner Julia Roberts), a pioneer in HIV-AIDS research.
